I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in anxiety, high-functioning depression, and life transitions among college students, recent graduates, and young professionals. My clients are often high-achieving and capable on the outside—but privately navigating burnout, perfectionism, or the disorientation that comes with major personal and career shifts.
Currently, I serve as a Clinical Therapist at Stanford Hospital, where I provide comprehensive clinical care to individuals navigating complex acute mental health concerns, emotional dysregulation, and major stress. My therapeutic approach is heavily rooted in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through CBT, I help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that drive anxiety and self-doubt. Integrating DBT strategies allows us to build practical tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness—empowering clients to manage intense stressors with greater resilience and balance in their daily lives.
My clinical practice is further enriched by my previous experience in Stanford University's Dean of Students Office. As a Student Support Social Worker and Liaison to the First-Gen and/or Low-Income Student Success Center, I led crisis case management for students facing housing insecurity, financial hardship, and complex mental health challenges while serving on the university's Student of Concern triage team. This combined background gives me a deep, realistic understanding of high-pressure environments and the exact pressures young adults face when navigating both clinical recovery and institutional life.
I earned my Master of Social Work, summa cum laude, from the University of Southern California, and I am currently a Doctoral Candidate in the EdD program in Higher Education Leadership at San Jose State University. My dissertation research examines how Black mothers prepare and support their daughters in pursuing higher education at predominantly white institutions (PWIs) — work that directly shapes how I understand identity, belonging, and family support systems for the students and student-parents I work with. As a first-generation college graduate myself, this work is personal as well as professional.
